The story

Deep inside a baobab tree is the Future Lab. That's where Aarti — a curious aardvark and future-archaeologist — reads the planet's past to understand its present and shape its future. With satellites, drones, and a slightly glitchy AI named Chatti, Aarti uncovers 22 real mysteries: a sinking city, a drowned coast, melting glaciers, forests that vanished. Every discovery starts with the same question — what will the future find out about us today?

Talk to Chatti

Chatti was designed by thousands of kids. Now your Explorer can ask it anything about science, nature and the planet.

Weekly challenges

Every mystery ends with a mission. Draw a machine, design a city, imagine a drowned coastline — your way.

Get into the story

The best creations become part of Aarti's world, credited to the kids who made them.

Build your own. Solve your own.

Aarti's Future Lab is a making place, not just a watching place. Explorers build stories, design their own Chatti, spark fresh ideas and propose the mysteries they want solved.

  • Story Studio

Children build their own Aarti and Chatti stories, scene by scene, and can share them once approved.

  • Design your Chatti

Every Explorer gets their own Chatti: approved looks, safe name lists and bounded personality presets.

  • Idea Spark

Stuck? A tap gives a few short, playful 'ideas to try' — never the answer.

  • Propose a mystery

An 'I wonder why…' can become a community mystery, credited to the Explorer's handle.

Make something now

First make takes about a minute. No sign-up, and nothing is shared until a grown-up says yes and a person has checked it.

Talk to Chatti, any way you like

Speak it, type it, draw it, tap it, or snap a photo. Whatever suits your child works — and Chatti can read every answer out loud.
